“So, what do you think? Are you telling me that you’d kick his friend out of bed if it came to it.”

Melissa was conflicted. She didn’t know what to say, but the idea of having her debts cleared was too good an opportunity to miss.

“If you put it like that, I don’t suppose I would.”

“So why don’t I ask both the waiters if they would be up to giving both you ladies what you both clearly need to how shall we put ‘get back in the saddle.’ Would you like that Melissa?”

He was nodding gently as he spoke and Melissa felt that she needed to give him the answer he obviously wanted to hear, but not sure where this was leading.

Josie on the other hand had had time to reflect and was quick to say. “I think this has gone far enough.”

Melissa felt a hand squeezing her knee and knew what was expected of her.

“Josie, don’t be a killjoy. It’s a bit of a laugh, but I have to admit that waiter certainly does seem to have the hots for you. What was it you saying about wanting a man to lust after your body? What’s the harm, it’s just a question and I don’t know about you, but I’m as nervous as hell about hitting the clubs later and a little bit of an ego boost before we head off will do no harm at all.”

Josie didn’t have time to reply as the door opened and the two waiters returned carrying the next course which they placed on the table. As they stepped back from the table Barclay said.

“Please stay here for a moment. My guests are feeling a little insecure about venturing out into world again after their recent divorces. They are both worried that they might be considered past their prime. I want you to be completely honest with us and tell me if you find these ladies attractive and sexy and what it is about them that you like.”

Josie spoke up trying to put a stop to the embarrassing situation. “Of course, they are going to say nice things about us, the last thing they would want to do is upset their customers. I’m sorry if he embarrassed you.” She said turning to the waiter who was once again staring at her cleavage.

“I’m not embarrassed.” The waiter replied to her. “In fact, I’m far from embarrassed, I’ve always found older women to be a major turn on and if I’m going to be completely honest. I’ve not been able to keep my eyes off you since I first saw you.”

Josie was glad she was sitting, the way he looked at her as he made his statement and the sincerity in his voice made her feel almost weak at the knees.

“That’s very kind of you, thank you.” She said to him looking into his eyes and then he took her hand and kissed it. He’d pressed a piece of paper into her hand as he did so and Josie’s heart missed a beat, assuming she had just been handed the man’s phone number.
